Welcome back!  Please read the attached class newsletter with all the information you need about your new class.  Key highlights are also below, for quick reference.

Day-to-Day Information

 

Frogmore

Forest School sessions are on a Friday morning starting Friday 11th September.

 

PE 

PE this term will be on a Wednesday afternoons (Athletics) and Thursday afternoons (Dancercise). Athletics will take place outside, so please provide warm clothing.  Dancercise will take place indoors.  Please read attached letter about wearing PE kit to school.

 

Book Bags

Please ensure book bags and reading records are brought in every day.  The children are asked for them each morning, so we can keep track of their reading and make sure they change their books when they have finished.  New books and reading records will be distributed ASAP.

 

Water Bottles

Named water bottles must be brought in each day please as this ensure children stay hydrated!  The water fountain is currently out of use due to safety.  Thank you.

 

Homework

Homework will go home on a Wednesday and is due back in on a Monday.  Children will receive either a piece of English or Maths each week.  They are not expected to spend more than 30 minutes on their homework.  Please comment in your child's book, if they found any aspect of it difficult.  Spellings will also be sent home each week to learn ready for a spelling test on Monday morning.
