After School Club
The After School Club runs Monday to Thursday from 3.15pm-6pm (during term time) providing a range of fun, creative and physical play activities in a comfortable, familiar and safe environment for children aged 4 to 11 years who attend Chalgrove School.
The ASC is located in the Children’s Centre on the school site. The club has access to the outdoor garden and the Community Hall which provides lots of opportunity for fun and games.
The children are provided with a healthy snack around 4.30pm where fresh fruit, salad and vegetables are always on offer along with savoury snacks. Staff are qualified in food hygiene and allergies.
Some of the activities that we have on offer are:
- Team games/sports
- Junk modelling/loose parts
- Art and painting
- Crafts/Play Doh
- Dressing up
- Construction toys/Lego/Knex/Hama beads
- Board games and puzzles
- Themed events such as Burn’s Night, Chinese New Year, Diwali, Easter, Halloween and Bonfire Night.
The club caters for those children who need to attend on regular days and also for those children whose parents may need the odd ad hoc day when something crops up.
Session are charged at £11.00 per child.

We also offer an early drop-off service which allows parents to leave their children with our playworkers from 7.45am in the morning. This runs Monday to Friday (during term time) and sessions cost £5.00 per child. As with the ASC this is available for children aged 4-11 who attend the school for either regular days or ad hoc days when something happens and you need early morning care.
