Forest School sessions have finished now for the academic year.
We will be going to Frogmore as part of Science sessions and other lessons, so please keep wellies and coats in school. No change of clothes required.
PE this term will be on a Wednesday afternoons (Tag Rugby) and Thursday afternoons (Dance). Tag Rugby will take place outside, so please provide warm clothing. Dance will take place indoors so please provide navy PE shorts, t-shirt and plimsolls/trainers.
Please ensure book bags and reading records are brought in every day. The children are asked for them each morning, so we can keep track of their reading and make sure they change their books when they have finished.
Named water bottles must be brought in each day please as this ensure children stay hydrated! It is both disruptive to the class and to Reception class if children keep requesting to go to the water fountain. Thank you.
Homework will go home on a Wednesday and is due back in on a Monday. Children will receive either a piece of English or Maths each week. They are not expected to spend more than 30 minutes on their homework. Please comment in your child's book, if they found any aspect of it difficult. Spellings will also be sent home each week to learn ready for a spelling test on Monday morning.
